The Sunrise Cottage

This warm and welcoming cottage is truly a vacationer’s delight, designed to enhance your full-Bend experience. The Sunrise was fully renovated in 2017 with the intent of keeping the old-Bend charm intact, while offering modern amenities for your comfort. She’s a charmer!

The newly re-designed living area is open and light and allows you to visit while preparing meals in the “top to bottom” brand new kitchen. Plenty of work space here to prepare those local favorites or to marinate that salmon for grilling on the outdoor gas BBQ. The Sunrise Cottage is uniquely nestled on a private and treed lot with an enticing (fully fenced) backyard, which is quiet and private for a relaxing dinner on the deck, reading in the gazebo, or soaking in the private HOT TUB under the Bend starry skies.

Time for a good night’s rest? The first bedroom has a delightful pillow-top KING bed for the best night’s sleep ever. We provided a desk in this room just in case you have to work while on the road. There is secure high-speed internet throughout the home, but it is way more fun to use it to locate that perfect-treasure-of-a-spot to visit while in Bend. The second bedroom is set-up with a comfy pillow-top QUEEN bed, making this cottage “just right” for two to four guests. There is one good-sized modern bathroom with walk-in shower and nice counter space. We also provide high efficiency washer and dryer to keep your play-clothes clean.

This Sunrise Cottage is located on Bend’s popular Westside within strolling distance of wonderful local favorites like 10 Barrel Brewing Company, Ariana’s, The Food Cart Court, and other fine dining and shops. Don’t miss the amazing Eggs Benedict and designer Bloody Mary’s at The Victorian Café (nicknamed The Vic by us locals) on the corner right across the street from the house. It is a great way to start that FUN Bend day! You can easily walk to the historic downtown, festivals, art shows, or to convenient outdoor recreational rentals… Or you can hop onto the TWO bikes we provide during the warmer summer months and peddle around. Stroll just five blocks and you are standing on the banks of the Deschutes River in iconic Drake Park. This walkable location makes it easy to put your inner tube in the Deschutes at The Old Mill and float the river right into Drake Park, with a short stroll home to the cottage.

The Sunrise is finished in a fun ski lodge motif, and has been lovingly designed with attention to detail. We personally strive to make your Bend experience a truly memorable one. Come be our guests and experience OUR Sunrise Bend!
